   About Us

My name is Stephanie Spyropoulos and I am a freelance reporter and photographer with two years of experience for the Express Newspaper group for East Bridgewater, Hanson and Whitman. I enjoy capturing action photos, especially at incidents involving human drama. My digital photography skills have been enhanced through technique classes and hands on experience.

There is a fascination in watching our everyday community heroes working their jobs. I attempt to reflect the intensity of each photographic scene to capture the whole incident as well as the evolving human drama during a fire or rescue.

I am a busy working mom who often runs with "a camera in one hand and a dance bag in the other". My column, Minivan Mom, appears monthly in the Express Newspapers.

My photographic focus is working locally in the small communities of the Massachusetts South Shore. Great personal and professional satisfaction occurs from recognizing our men and women fire-rescue personnel while at work.
